This Privacy Policy explains what information Mediarun Digital Private Limited ("we", "us", "our")
collects when you visit harehare.in or book a puja through our website, how we use it,
and how we protect it. By using the website, you agree to the practices described below.
1. What This Website Does
The HareHare website has two purposes:
- Presents information about our company, brand, and products
- Allows you to browse and book pujas, processed via Shopify and paid via Razorpay
This website does not have user accounts, login, AI chat, or a spiritual tracker.
Those features exist only in the HareHare mobile app.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 When you book a puja
At checkout, the following details are collected to fulfil your booking:
- Full name of the devotee
- Date of birth (required for ritual purposes)
- Gotra (clan lineage — required for Vedic rituals)
- Preferred date for the puja
- Mobile number for confirmation and updates
- Email address for your order receipt
- Shipping address if you have opted for prasad delivery
2.2 Automatically collected data
- IP address and approximate location — for security and fraud prevention
- Browser and device type — for compatibility and analytics
- Pages visited and session duration — via Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used
- Cookies — set by Shopify (for checkout) and Google Analytics (for traffic measurement); see Section 5
3. How We Use Your Information
- To process, confirm, and manage your puja booking
- To share your ritual details (name, gotra, DOB, preferred date) with the temple or pandit performing your puja
- To send booking confirmation and status updates via email or SMS
- To dispatch prasad to your address if requested
- To prevent fraud and misuse
- To improve the website through anonymised analytics
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information for advertising.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
4. Payments
Puja bookings are processed through Shopify (order management)
and paid via Razorpay (payment gateway). Both are PCI-DSS compliant.

Important:
- We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or any sensitive payment credentials. These are handled entirely by Razorpay on their secure servers.
- Your order details (puja selected, amount, name, contact) are stored by us for booking management and dispute resolution.
- Razorpay processes payment data under their Privacy Policy.
- Shopify processes order data under their Privacy Policy.
- All transactions use TLS encryption.
5. Cookies
Shopify sets cookies required for the checkout process to function. Google Analytics sets
cookies to measure anonymised traffic. You can block or delete cookies via your browser
settings — note that blocking Shopify's checkout cookies will prevent you from completing
a booking. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
6. Data Sharing
- Temple / pandit partners: your name, gotra, DOB, and preferred date — for ritual fulfilment only
- Shopify and Razorpay: to process your order and payment as described in Section 4
- Google Analytics: anonymised, aggregated data only — no personal details
- Legal compliance: if required by law or valid legal process
- Business transfers: in the event of a merger or acquisition, subject to equivalent privacy protections

8. Data Retention
- Booking records are retained for a minimum of 3 years for legal and accounting purposes
- Prasad shipping addresses are deleted once the order is fulfilled

- Security logs (IP addresses, request metadata) are retained for up to 30 days
9. Your Rights
Regarding personal data collected through this website, you may:
- Request access to the data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your booking data (subject to legal retention requirements in Section 8)
